In the whole tournament, Jasprit Bumrah shined the brightest. Since the day 1, he has been a crucial bowler for India. In the final over, his crucial four overs nailed the game. He conceded 18 runs and secured two wickets of Reeza Hendricks and Marco Jansen. Those two crucial dismissals on crucial points changed India’s perspective changed in the game. 

After the win, Hardik praised Bumrah saying, “Credit to Jassi and the other bowlers for those last 5 overs. Knew it would not help me if I wasn’t calm, wanted to commit 100% to every ball I’ve bowled. I’ve always enjoyed pressure.”

In the span of these three years, Team India witnessed many highs and lows but Dravid played his role significantly. But winning after a long wait of 11 years has turned out to be a perfect farewell for him. 

While talking about this, Pandya said, “Very happy for him, he’s been a wonderful man, really enjoyed working with him, to give him a farewell like this is wonderful, have had a very good relationship with him and became friends. Very happy for all the support staff.”
