Mohammad Kaif, India’s former cricket has always been a supporter of Sourav Ganguly as India’s captain. But Kaif shared a brilliant post to showcase why there would not be any Dhoni calling the latter ‘once-in-a-lifetime player & captain’.
Captain Cool
Mahendra Singh is one of the successful captains of Indian cricket. In 2007, he gave the first glimpse of his outstanding captaincy when India claimed the inaugural T20 World Cup under his leadership. While the 50-over one was a disaster in 2007, Dhoni’s young India was a boon to the fans. Then in 2001, Dhoni led the side to win the ODI World Cup after 28 years. His innings in the final match and especially the sixer at the climax are still unforgettable. As a captain he won all ICC trophies for India. His brilliance continued in the Indian Premier League as well. Under Dhoni’s captaincy Chennai Super Kings won as many as three IPL titles.
Kaif’s unique wish for Dhoni
They say leaders are born and Mahendra Singh Dhoni is an ideal example of it. This is why even Mohammad Kaif who is fan a Sourav Ganguly as India’s captain, took to social media account on Dhoni’s birthday to remind all about how amazing captain the latter was. Kaif listed Dhoni’s achievements as a skipper and added that there would not be any other Mahendra Singh Dhoni in future. Kaif’s message was, “Name: MS Dhoni Won all ICC Trophies✅ Led CSK to 3 IPL titles✅ Inspired a generation to chase their dreams✅ The next MSD? ❌ Error 404 Next MSD will never be found Wishing once-in-a-lifetime player & captain a very happy birthday @msdhoni #HappyBirthdayDhoni”.
Kaif’s claim is true and the social media buzz on Dhoni’s birthday is a great example of the same. The birthday boy has not played professional cricket since last July. But he is still relevant and missed by one and all.
