King Khan Showers Love on Virat Kohli, Says “Damaad Jaisa Hai”

The king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, is undoubtedly one in a million, and his active interaction with his fans on social media has often proved his love for his fans. SRK keeps interacting with his fans while kicking off an #AskSRK session on X, formerly known as Twitter. In the session, fans can interact with the superstar by asking him light-hearted questions. Recently, on Wednesday, Shah Rukh again hit his #AskSRK session, in which he was posed with a large number of questions. 

SRK on Kohli: He is like my own…

During the interactive session, a fan asked SRK to share his thoughts about the legendary cricketer, Virat Kohli. The actor responded with a heartfelt message, saying, “I love @imVkohli; he is like my own, and I pray always for his well-being. “Bhai damaad jaisa hai humaara!”

SRK called Kohli his damaad (son-in-law), referring to his co-star of many films, Virat Kohli’s better half, Anushka Sharma. Shah Rukh and Anushka Sharma have shared the screen in many blockbuster movies like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017), etc., among others. The actress not only sees SRK as her colleague but also looks up to him as her mentor.

Earlier this year, during one of the matches of the IPL, both Virat Kohli and SRK were seen shaking a leg on the latter’s blockbuster hit movie “Pathaan,” which was released in January 2023. SRK was seen teaching Kohli the iconic step of the movie’s famous song “Jhoome jo Pathaan,” making it a moment to cherish for all the Bollywood and cricket fans. 

What’s next for both the kings? 

The King of Cricket and the King of Bollywood are all set for their next While being on a magnificent run at the box office, with recent releases like Pathaan and Jawan being massive hits, SRK’s next is going to release on December 22 this year. The film, named “Dunki,” has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
