The last day of the second Test match between India and Bangladesh has been unfolded in Kanpur. After the Test match was interrupted heavily by the rain, the visitors got to the game finally on day 4. The was eventful as the fans witnessed some exciting performances by the Indian batters. KL Rahul’s exceptional innings was a huge boost for the team. Before the game started on Day 5, Rahul shared what was captain Rohit Sharma’s message.

After a lot of rain interruption, the game in the second Test match resumed finally on day 3. Bangladesh resumed their game where they left on day 1. Since the game started, the Indian bowlers showcased domination and Bangladesh was all out 233 runs. Bumrah shined with 3 wickets. Siraj, Ashwin, and Akashdeep secured 2 wickets each.
While batting in the first innings, Team India got a flying start. Rohit Sharma was dismissed after scoring 23 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a knock of 72 runs in 51 balls. Coming to bat at number 6, KL Rahul played the anchor role. He completed his half-century in crucial time and played an innings of 68 runs in 43 balls with a strike rate of 158.14. This innings was a huge boost.
Before the game resumed on day 5, KL Rahul talked about Rohit’s message. He said, “Message was very clear. Most of the game was lost to weather but we wanted to see what we could do in the time that was left. We lost a couple of wickets but since the message was so clear from Rohit that it doesn’t matter if we get out, we tried to do that.”

After Team India declared their innings 285/9d, Bangladesh started their second innings. In the 8th over, Ravichandran Ashwin was dismissed scoring 10 runs. Coming to bat at number 3, Hasan Mahmud was dismissed scoring 4 runs. Momonul Haq was unbeaten scoring a century in the first innings, but was dismissed scoring 2 runs in the second innings.
Ravindra Jadeja sent Bangladeshi skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto in 19 runs. Shadman Ismal was dismissed scoring 50 runs in 101 balls. Mushfiqur Rahim is batting on 1 run. After losing 5 wickets in 93 runs, Bangladesh is under pressure. The visitors are standing with a 41-run lead.
