KL Rahul began his IPL career in 2013 with Royal Challengers Bangalore. After a few years with Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2014 to 2015, he rejoined RCB in 2016. He missed the 2017 season due to injury and was then released by RCB. Subsequently, he played for Punjab Kings from 2018 to 2021. In 2022, he joined Lucknow Super Giants.
In his initial stint with RCB, Rahul had a modest start. He played five matches but batted only twice, scoring a total of 20 runs. When he returned to RCB in 2016, Rahul made a significant impact. He finished as the third-highest run-scorer that season with 397 runs in 14 matches.

Recently a video has gone viral where a fan talked about this topic and Rahul answered with a short answer. The fan said, “ I am a die-hard RCB fan. I am following RCB since very long, and you playing past in RCB, and now definitely the rumours; I won’t say anything. But yeah, I am just wishing and praying that you come into RCB and rock here.”
In reply, KL Rahul said, “Let’s hope So.” That small replay made the fans crazy. BCCI is yet to release the rules of the upcoming mega auctions. So, the auction is afar now.
