Bangladesh Women started off the innings with both the openers departing back into the hut soon after the start. Shathi Rani managed a few boundaries up the order but did not manage to continue the start she got. Nigar Sultana managed 39 runs off 44 deliveries and kept the wickets intact at one end throughout the inning. She lacked a partner on such a wicket where batters would score freely. Bangladesh Women got on the backfoot from the start of the innings and never recovered, only managing 103 runs on the board in a do-or-die match.
Bangladesh Women finish on 103/8 after 20 overs and West Indies Women will be very happy with that total as the wicket looks good for batting. West Indies Women bowled well and kept taking the wickets at regular intervals to stop Bangladesh Women on a below-par score of 103.
