FIVE WIDES! Oh dear, that's the last thing you need when defending 89 runs! Fazalhaq Farooqi gets the inswinging delivery, on a length, on leg. It goes further down and away from the keeper to his right and races away to the fine leg fence.

Steams in from over the wicket and hits the right line, on a fuller length, honing in at the stumps with a hint of swing, Faf du Plessis looks to nudge it away but gets an inside edge back onto his pads.
We are back for the all-important run chase! The umpires and the players of Delhi Bulls make their way back to the middle. It will be the duo of Faf du Plessis and Charith Asalanka to open the innings for Morrisville Samp Army. The Bulls use their Impact sub to bring in Fazalhaq Farooqi in place of James Vince and he will get proceedings underway with the ball as well. Let's go...
... THE RUN CHASE ...
The Morrisville Samp Army delivered a standout performance with the ball, maintaining control throughout and never allowing the opposition to mount any significant pressure. Their effort was perfectly complemented by an exceptional display of fielding, with a special mention to Faf du Plessis, whose sharp presence on the field made a big impact. The bowlers smartly used pace variations to great effect, consistently outsmarting the batters and ensuring the target remained well within reach. It was a disciplined and collective effort that has now set the stage for their batters to chase down a manageable target and book their spot in the Grand Finale. The chase to follow!
It was a tough outing for the Delhi Bulls, with little going their way after an encouraging start in the opening over. James Vince and Tom Banton showcased early intent, hinting at a solid foundation, but the innings unravelled quickly as wickets tumbled, shifting momentum firmly in favour of the Samp Army. Skipper Rovman Powell and Tim David tried to inject some aggression during the middle overs, but neither could convert their starts into substantial contributions. The Bulls also failed to capitalize on the floating powerplay, with both key batters dismissed before they could make a real impact. It was Nikhil Chaudhary who provided a late push, adding some much-needed runs towards the end, but overall, it was a disappointing batting display. The Bulls now find themselves with their backs against the wall at the halfway stage, needing a monumental bowling effort to stay alive in the tournament.
