Presentations coming up...
Earlier in the game, Dhaka Capitals had a slow start, losing three early wickets for single digits. Tanzid Hasan managed to score 54 runs but at a slow pace. Sabbir Rahman, batting at number 5, turned the innings around with a powerful knock, scoring 82 runs off just 33 balls. His explosive performance helped the Capitals reach a total of 177. Khaled Ahmed bowled well for Chittagong Kings as he picked three wickets and was economical as well.
As the pressure mounted as Thisara Perera turned to Mosaddek Hossain, who had been effective in the middle overs. However, he faced a tough matchup against Shamim Hossain Patwari, who launched an explosive assault, scoring 18 runs in that over and bringing the target down to just 5 runs needed from the last 6 balls. Shamim finished the match unbeaten on 30 off 14 balls, while Mohammad Mithun also contributed with an unbeaten 33 off 22 balls, leading the Chittagong Kings to a comfortable victory. For the Dhaka Capitals, Mustafizur Rahman, Farmanullah Safi, and Mosaddek Hossain each claimed a wicket.
The Chittagong Kings just showed the Dhaka Capitals, who's the boss, and won by 7 wickets! They began their innings with an aggressive start. However, Parvez Hossain Emon struggled to make an impact. In contrast, opener Usman Khan showcased a commanding performance, scoring 55 runs off 33 balls. He formed a crucial partnership with Graham Clark, who anchored the innings and accelerated the scoring rate, particularly after Thisara Perera entered the bowling attack. Together, they added 38 runs for the third wicket, but the Kings faced a challenge as Mosaddek Hossain dismissed Clark, leaving the team needing 33 runs from the last three overs.
