Beauty this time.

Perhaps a change in pace this time. A length ball, outside off, coming in massively, Mitch winds up for a big pull but is months early into the shot. Misses and is hit on the pad, prompting an appeal from the close-in fielders. But nothing much from the bowler. Going down leg.

Good-length ball, just outside off, The Bison cannot get it away. Pushes it to cover-point.

On a good length, outside off, the skipper pushes it towards cover.

Better from Potts, landing it just outside off, keeping it full, Marsh defends.

FOUR LEG BYES! Down the leg side, Mitchell Marsh cannot get bat on it but the ball runs off his hips, past the keeper, to his left and into the fine leg fence.

Outside off, dabbed into the off side. An eventful opening over from Archer.

A length ball, just outside off, coming in, Travis has a mindless hack and misses.

Good comeback by the bowler. Bends his back and bowls a sharp short ball, around off, gets it to come in with te angle, Head is squared up in defense and is beaten on the outside edge.

SIX! That will frustrate Archer even more. He bowls a fast ball but it is full and on the pads. Travis Head gets off the mark in some style as he whips it nonchalantly over backward square leg. 298 more needed from 225 balls.

TOP EDGE, BUT NOT TAKEN! Massive miscommunication and the bowler is not happy. Another quick short ball from Archer and Marsh instantaneously goes for the hook. Like the previous ball, he is hurried onto the shot and gets a massive top edge. The ball goes high in the air and two players go after it in the direction of fine leg - Jamie Smith, the keeper and Will Jacks, from first slip. Now, Jacks assumes that the keeper will go for it but strangely, Smith does not call at all. In the end, Jacks has to dive and eventually, he does not even get fingertips to it. A single taken with that let off.

Fiery from Archer. Bowls a sharp short ball, around off, Mitchell Marsh looks to go for the pull but is beaten by pace, taking a blow on the left chest.
Jofra Archer to bowl from his favourite end at Lord's - The Pavillion End.

Around middle and off, well kept out. Barring those wides, not a bad start from Potts.

On a good length, coming back in from outside off, from around the wicket, Travis Head hops and dabs it towards mid on.

Big deliberation from England. But they don't review. Mitch walks down the track and Matthew Potts bowls a sharp indipper from a length outside off. Marsh gets hit on the pads and then the ball goes off the bat towards mid off. The batters take a quick single and Harry Brook has a big debate with Jamie Smith. Two questions are asked - 1. Whether the ball hit the pad first or at all 2. Where was the impact. There is no definite answer and Brook does not want to waste a review. Good decision too. Ball Tracker shows the impact to be outside off.

WIDE. Third one of the over. All identical. Down the leg side, flick shot missed.
