More frustration for Alzarri! Joseph goes short again, over middle, Salt swivels and pulls it to the left of deep backward square leg. The throw from the deep is wayward and it is not backed up well, allowing another run.

A big mix-up but no harm done! Curran was gone had the throw hit. Angling in, on a nagging length, on middle and leg, Salt nudges it in front of mid on. Curran sets off for the run and is almost halfway down the track when he is sent back by Salt. The mid on fielder swoops in and fires in a throw at the bowling end but luckily for him, the throw does not hit the stumps. Curran was struggling even with a dive.

Oh, an overthrow and Joseph is furious! Digs it in short does Joseph, on off, Curran hops and fends it down beside the pitch on the off side. Curran sets off for the run before he gets sent back. Sherfane Rutherford picks it up and has a shy at the batting end but misses. The ball rolls towards deep backward square leg for a run.

Joseph zones it in at the stumps, full in length, Curran stays rooted in the crease and drives it without much timing to mid off.
Drinks! West Indies have taken control of the game with a near-flawless start, leaving England in a tight spot after claiming four vital wickets early on. They will be hoping to continue to press hard in these middle overs. England’s top order is rattled, and now the pressure falls on Sam Curran, who’s looked calm and composed under fire. Curran, alongside Phil Salt, face the daunting task of digging deep and forging a solid partnership to steady this inning for them.
