Presentations coming up...
Earlier in the game, the Rangpur Riders delivered a stellar bowling performance, dismissing Fortune Barishal for just 124 runs. After being put into bat by Nurul Hasan, Barishal initially started strong with Tamim Iqbal's quick runs but faltered quickly, losing three wickets in the powerplay. This collapse set the tone for the innings as they struggled to recover, ultimately sinking to 106/9. Although Mohammad Nabi added some key runs towards the end with 21, the team was all out. Khushdil Shah was the standout bowler for the Riders with figures of 3/18, supported by Nahid Rana who took two wickets.
Both Hales and Saif batted with equal finesse, making light work of the Barishal total. The Barishal bowlers, unfortunately, had little to show for their efforts, with Emon being the only wicket-taker, claiming two scalps.
A dominant performance by Rangpur Riders saw them cruise to a comfortable victory over Fortune Barishal. Chasing a modest total of 125Â runs, the Riders initially stumbled, losing two wickets inside the first two overs. However, a magnificent 113-run partnership between Alex Hales and Saif Hasan turned the game around, guiding their team to a convincing win.
