Tamim Iqbal, the skipper of Fortune Barishal says the crowd was massive and it is a fantastic thing for the tournament. Mentions that they bowled and batted really well and this was an A-game for them. Mentions that Jahandad bowled brilliantly but for him, the game changer was Rishad as he gave away nothing and took three as well. Reckons that Rishad is one they back upon and they will continue to back him. Adds that it is important for him and his side that Towhid gets into some runs and this knock will help him a lot going ahead in the tournament.
Jahandad Khan is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH. He says he was looking to keep it simple and keep it back of a length mostly and he succeeded well with it. Mentions that he looks to give 100 percent for the side he represents and uses his variations for a good effect.
Ariful Haque, the skipper of Sylhet says They lost wickets early on and that made things difficult for them. Mentions that they need to win more and the batters need to contribute a lot more.

Earlier, Sylhet's batting struggles continued as they were dismissed for 125. Despite a few batsmen getting starts, they failed to capitalize and accelerate their scoring. Fortune Barishal's bowlers were on top, with Rishad Hossain and Jahandad Khan taking three wickets each, while Faheem Ashraf claimed two. Kyle Mayers and Shaheen Afridi chipped in with a wicket each to round out the impressive bowling performance.
Sylhet's bowlers made a promising start, but with a low total to defend, they were ultimately unable to withstand the aggressive batting from Mayers and Hridoy. Rahkeem Cornwall and Tanzim Hasan Sakib claimed a wicket each but were taken to task by the Fortune Barishal duo.
Fortune Barishal cruised to a comfortable 7-wicket victory over Sylhet, chasing down a modest total with ease. Despite losing two wickets for just 6 runs, Kyle Mayers and Towhid Hridoy formed a match-winning partnership of 116 runs, both scoring half-centuries in the process.
