Drinks break! The first hour has flown by quickly and no doubt to say, that it has gone Bangladesh's way. It is still overcast and the ball is moving gently, not an ideal Chepauk we have witnessed though. India have lost three early wickets courtesy of a spectacular start by the Bangladeshi pace alliance of Taskin and Hasan. Taskin was hitting the hard lengths while Hasan Mahmud tested the batters on the front foot on a much fuller side, and snagged all three big scalps. Jaiswal though has done the bulk of scoring and has looked confident so far. The pitch will quicken up a bit once the moisture dries up though and will get a bit better to bat on. India would look to see through the session without losing any wickets further whereas, Bangladesh will aim to add more wickets to stay at the top.

Classic Pant, no idea what kind of shot that was. Short of a length and around off stump, Rishabh Pant seems off balanced and just looks to have a swipe across the line but misses.

Hard length around off stump, Jaiswal presses back and punches it through the gap at covers for a run.

No ball! Rana brings out the slower delivery now but he has overstepped here. On a good length and outside off, Jaiswal waits well and taps it away towards cover.

This is really aggressive bowling from Nahid Rana first up. Not all that quick at 136.6 kph but the line and length is perfect. Banged in right around the helmet and shooting off the deck, Jaiswal does well again to somehow duck under that one.

Oh, that is spicy! Almost 142 clicks and banged in short over middle, the line is perfect and Rana gets that sharp bounce as well. Jaiswal bends his back and sways away from the line of the ball.

Rana steams in from over the wicket and clocks 146 kph right away. This is bowled short and right at the batter, Jaiswal hops back and does well to keep it down.

The first change in bowling from Bangladesh as Nahid Rana is introduced into the attack. He replaces Taskin Ahmed.

Another wicket-maiden for Hasan Mahmud and Bangladesh are on top of proceedings at the moment. Pitched up around the fourth stump line, Pant stays low and eases it towards point looking for a single but is sent back.

That three-quarter length, on off and middle and angling back in, Rishabh Pant looks to get forward and block but gets an inside edge onto the pad.

Mahmud bends his back a bit more and bangs this one in short and outside off, the ball wobbles away as well and Pant makes a good leave.

Slightly fuller and in the channel outside off, this one zips off the deck as Rishabh Pant leaves it alone.

Lovely length from Mahmud but the line is a bit wide of the off stump. It still draws the batter forward and Virat Kohli looks to drive with hard hands and that slight away movement means a faint outside edge is found. The ball nestles into the gloves of Litton Das behind the stumps and India in a spot of real bother now at 34/3 inside the first 10 overs.
