A solid batting effort from Ireland has helped them post a formidable score of 195 for 6 in their 20 overs. Having asked to bat yet again, their openers did a splendid job and added 137 for the first wicket inside 13 overs. Paul Stirling made a blistering fifty while Ross Adair slammed a terrific ton. The Irish lost their way once the openers were dismissed and did not get the desired finish, just like the first T20I. George Dockrell swung his bat and stuck a few lusty blows to take his side to a brilliant total but they would have got 10-20 more runs after the start they had got with the bat.

Short ball, on top of the stumps. Hand looks to free his arms, but gets no bat on it.
OUT! RUN OUT! This is poor running. Short ball, on middle. Mark Adair whips it towards deep square leg and calls for two runs instantly. Although the throw from Matthew Breetzke from the deep is on the money. Ryan Rickelton grabs it and dislodges the bails to find Adair short of the crease. Fionn Hand walks in at number 8.
