The Shreyas Iyer-led Mumbai have been on a dominant streak, winning their last three matches while chasing. Their last two victories in the group stage were while chasing 200-plus scores, and their chase of 159 against Baroda in the semifinal was completed with ease. Ajinkya Rahane has been the backbone of their batting success, with Shivam Dube and Shreyas Iyer contributing impactful knocks. Suryansh Shedge has been a revelation with his all-round exploits, and Mumbai have managed to reach the final without significant contributions from Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav. On the bowling front, the pace duo of Mohit Avasthi and Shardul Thakur have been crucial, with Tanush Kotian leading the spin department and providing vital breakthroughs. Madhya Pradesh, on the other hand, have excelled in both departments and their all-round performance has been key to their progression. Venkatesh Iyer has been decent with both bat and ball, and Madhya Pradesh will lean on his experience in this big final.
