Moises Henriques didn't bowl but he shuffled his bowling pack quite often. He used the spinners effectively, as Todd Murphy and Joel Davies got a lot of purchases from the deck and bowled well. The pacers took some beating. Ben Dwarshuis took two wickets but gave away 42 runs. Still, this is a par score on a pitch which is really good to bat on. Sydney Sixers have the home crowd behind them and they'll be confident to chase it down. Stay tuned.
That is a decent start from both franchises! Not sure who is on top right now! Slightly tilted towards the Sixers as they bowled well in the last three overs or so. Melbourne Renegades were off to a flier thanks to the openers but both were sent back in their 20s! Tim Seifert played well from one end but lost quite a few wickets and was not able to stitch a partnership. He played an anchor role almost throughout the innings and got much able supprt through Will Sutherland as they added 50 runs together. However, Seifert fell just after his fifty in the 17th over which was the turning point as when he was in the middle, Melbourne Renegades were sure shot of a score around 185.
