That's it from this game then! CPL action cornices on the 17th. Barbados Royals take on the Patriots. That game begins at 0430 IST (2300 GMT). Till then, goodbye and take care!
Faf du Plessis says he is very proud of his side. Mentions the wicket surprised them as to how it played. David Wiese was brilliant he felt they were in the game after that innings. Mentions the bowlers bowled brilliantly. States the spinners were difficult to get away with as the wicket did provide some purchase. Ends by thanking the fans for their support.
Chris Green says he felt Saint Lucia Kings were below par but they lost too many soft wickets. Adds they have two games to go and they need to do really well. Reckons they haven't played their best cricket and he hopes they can do well in the games which are left. Ends by saying they need to win both and it is not going to be easy but he believes they can do it.
Khary Pierre, THE PLAYER OF THE MATCH, says he's very happy, happy he got an opportunity and he's happy for the win. Mentions he's ready whenever given a chance and he backs his ability. Thanks the crowd for their support. Adds he was looking to turn the ball and he got purchase from the wicket too. Ends by saying he reckons they can go all the way.
Khary Pierre was brilliant in the Powerplay and he got three. Noor was excellent too and in no time, Antigua & Barbuda Falcons were five down. Green and Shamar Springer then put up a good stand but they needed a special effort from one of the two if they were to win this. When it was time to go big though, both fell in quick succession and in the end, the visitors fell well short.
That's a fine effort by Saint Lucia Kings! How important was that innings from David Wiese? Have to say, that was the difference, that powered them over 150 and then it was their bowlers who came to the fore.
