The scenes post match melted everyone’s hurt when two kids were captured on camera. They were the fans of Chennai Super Kings and could not stop shedding tears of joy after watching Dhoni hitting winning boundary yet again.
MS Dhoni is 40 and has passed his golden cricket days much before. If something the cricket field still needs is the captain cool which is why Chennai Super Kings continue to make him captain year after year. In fact, his cricket skill and knowledge are the reasons behind BCCI asking him to be mentor for India’s T20 World Cup campaign this year.
Last night saw Dhoni the batter in old style. His cameo of 18* off 6 saw him hitting three boundaries in the last over to take his side to the final. After the exit of CSK from the league stage in last IPL, a lot of people thought it would be hard for Chennai to bring back the olden golden days. But this year they have proved everyone wrong by becoming the first team to reach the Playoffs.
While the entire cricket world went crazy after MS Dhoni yet again finished off in style, two kids were seen on TV in yellow shirts. They could not stop crying after seeing their favourite batter in full form. Those couple of young fans won everyone’s heart and even Dhoni could not miss them. Dhoni went on to sign the match ball and throw it to the two young fans of him into the stands.
