Lucknow Super Giants who have already impressed one and all with their auction strategy on their debut mega auction for IPL last month, will kick off the Indian Premier League with a match against Gujarat Titans on March 28 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Interestingly, the Titans are the second new team that has been included to the 10-team IPL this year.
The media release by the BCCI informed, “A total number of 70 league matches and 4 Playoff games will be played in the duration of 65 days.” They further added that the schedule for the Playoffs will be released later.Lucknow will play their last league stage match on May 18 against Kolkata Knight Riders.
