ICC Cricket World Cup is ringing the door. At the end of this month, warm-up games will be started taking place. On September 29, Pakistan will face New Zealand in Hyderabad. But this match will be played close the door. This decision was taken because of the security issue.
The matter:
Before the World Cup, every team will be playing a few Warm-up matches. Pakistan and New Zealand are not exceptional. So ICC scheduled a Warm-up match between these two teams on September 29 in Hyderabad. But an issue happened there.
On September 28, Hyderabad will be congested because of Ganpati Visarjan and Milan-Un-Nabi. So the security will be a big issue. And it is also will be hard to organize the game with the Audience on that day. So the decision of arranging the match in close-door mode has been taken.
Warm-up matches for both the teams:
Teams will play four warm-up matches before the World Cup. those are scheduled on September 29, September 30, October 2, and October 3. Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, and Guwahati will be hosting all the warm-up matches.
On October 3, Pakistan will be facing Australia in Hyderabad. Both the warm-up matches of Pakistan will be played in Hyderabad.
New Zealand will play two warm-up matches. One is on September 29, against Pakistan in Hyderabad. Another warm-up match is scheduled for them against South Africa on October 3 in Thiruvananthapuram.
