Maxwell’s Monster Six Steals Spotlight: 92-Meter Smash Hits Roof Against Sydney Sixers

Depending on the popularity of the shortest format, the cricket-playing countries have started T20 leagues. Australia’s Big Bash League is one of the most interesting leagues all over the world. On December 26, Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars faced each other. In that match, Glenn Maxwell’s massive six grabbed the spotlight.

In the fifth delivery of the over, Maxwell smashed a huge six. Bird bowled a length delivery. Maxwell hit it across the line and it went out of sight. The ball landed on the roof near deep square leg. That massive six recorded 92 meters. That huge hit grabbed the spotlight. 

In the 14th match of the BBL, Sydney Sixers, and Melbourne Stars locked horns. In the second innings of the match, Glenn Maxwell smashed a huge six. In the seventh over, the team’s score was 41-2.  In that over, Glenn Maxwell and Beau Webster were on the crease. Jackson Bird came to bowl.

In the 14th match of BBL, Sydney Sixers, and Melbourne Stars locked horns at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Australia. Melbourne Stars won the toss and opted to bowl first. Hilton Cartwright played an excellent unbeaten knock of 47 runs in 30 balls. Maxwell got out after scoring 12 runs. After a great team game, Melbourne Stars won the match by 4 wickets.
