With a quick 51 runs off just 23 deliveries, Dube’s powerful batting, comprising two fours and five sixes, significantly contributed to Chennai’s challenging total against GT.

After Shivam Dube’s dazzling display in the match against Gujarat Titans, Micheal Hussey praised Shivam Dubey. He said, “I have got to give a lot of credit to Shivam Dube. He has worked, worked and worked tirelessly against the short ball in his own time. Not here, in our time, he works hard on it here as well. He gets the throwers to throw a lot of short stuff to him. But, to his credit, he has gone away, he has seen that’s an area he has got to improve on and that’s an area that opposition bowlers are going to come at him with.”
Later he added, “He has gone away and done hours and hours of hard work. He is playing it with confidence. And he is as dangerous as ever against the spin.”
After the 63 runs win against Gujarat Titans boosted up their place in the points table. In their first two matches, they registered two wins. Their new captain Ruturaj Gaikwad is leading the team from the front. They are progressing well to their dreams.
