Mitchell Marsh loses important Indian catch
The match between India and Australia is more than a usual face off between 2 teams in a tournament. Team India and their fans are out for revenge as they are reminded of the 2023 ODI World Cup finale between two teams when Australia silenced the Indian crowd and took the trophy.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma seemed to be in his best form, hitting runs and breaking records, as he scored a whopping 92 runs in today’s match. There weren’t a lot of wickets lost when Hardik Pandya stepped onto the field. However, Pandya’s play could have been restricted on the 2nd ball of the 16th over.
Hardik Pandya hit it on Adam Zampa’s ball and made a run. However, the All rounder could have lost his wicket had Australia captain Mitchell Marsh not dropped the catch. The ball had full and floated up wide outside off, Pandya ran off to chase 1 run and Mitchell Marsh dropped the catch when he could have dismissed Pandya. Hardik went on to score 27* off 17 balls.
