Additionally, fast-bowling all-rounder Jahandad Khan has been handed his debut cap.

Known for his explosive strike rate of 187.80 and 18 wickets from 19 domestic T20s, Jahandad adds a fresh dimension to Pakistan’s lineup.

Pakistan’s Playing XI Updates

In the absence of Mohammad Rizwan, Haseebullah Khan will take up wicketkeeping duties.

The XI includes veterans Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and emerging talents Jahandad Khan, Sufyan Moqim for a balanced squad.

The team management hopes these changes will yield better results after lacklustre performances in the first two T20Is.

Rizwan’s struggles with the bat, including a duck in the rain-curtailed opening match and a sluggish 16 in the second, were factors behind his exclusion.

Naseem Shah, too, had a disappointing run, bagging just one wicket in two games.
