“My Father Has A Mental Issues”: Yuvraj Singh’s Old Clip Resurfaces After His Viral Rant

Following the controversial father Yograj Singh’s latest outburst against former India captain MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and his father have once again made headlines. Yograj believes that during Dhoni’s tenure as Indian captain, his son Yuvraj Singh was out of the game for “four or five years.”

Yograj Singh’s Brutal Comments On M.S Dhoni

Yograj Singh had previously attacked MS Dhoni viciously on a podcast. After being out of the game for two years, Yuvraj Singh made the decision to withdraw from all international cricket competitions.

“I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life. That man (MS Dhoni) has destroyed the life of my son, who could have played four to five years more. I dare everyone to give birth to a son like Yuvraj,”  said Yograj Singh.

Yograj has never ceased holding Dhoni accountable for pressuring Yuvraj to call it quits on his international career. “My son could have played for four or five more years, but that man (Dhoni) has ruined his life.” Everybody, I implore you, to have a son like Yuvraj. No one will ever be another Yuvraj Singh, even Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir have stated as much.

“India should award him the Bharat Ratna for playing through cancer and winning the World Cup for the country,” Yograj added.

The father of the Indian southpaw has previously made disparaging remarks about Dhoni. The 66-year-old stated earlier this year that Dhoni’s “bad deeds” were the reason CSK did not win the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 title. Dhoni was accused by him of being ‘jealous’ of Yuvraj as well.

Yuvraj Singh’s Old Confessions About His Father

In a previous video, Yuvraj, who hosted The Ranveer Show podcast, discussed his connection with his father and his mental health at the time.

“So, I feel my father has a mental issue. And he just doesn’t want to accept it. I feel that there is something he needs to address. He doesn’t accept it. Like I accept that I need therapy. But he doesn’t accept that,” said Yuvraj on the podcast.
