Buttler’s tally includes a century and 23 fifties, with his highest score being 101*. He ranks ninth among the highest run-scorers in T20I history. Former captain Eoin Morgan follows closely, with 2,458 runs in 115 matches, averaging 28.58 and striking over 136, including 14 half-centuries.
England’s Dominating Win Over Pakistan:
After washing out the first game of the series, both teams locked horns in the second game. After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to bowl first. While batting first, Phil Salt lost his wicket in 13 runs. After that, Jos Buttler and Will Jacks tried to make a partnership but Jacks walked away scoring 37 runs in 23 balls. Jonny Bairstow scored 21 runs. Jofra Archer scored 12 runs in 4 balls. Shaheen Afridi played exceptionally well taking 3 wickets in 36 runs. Imad Wasim and Haris Rauf took 2 wickets each.
On the other hand, while batting in the second innings, Pakistan’s batting lineup shattered. Babar Azam scored 32 runs in 26 balls. Fakhar Zaman played a knock of 45 runs in 21 balls. Iftikhar Ahmed scored 23 runs in 17 balls. Imad Wasim added 22 runs. With the ball, Reece Topley secured 3 wickets and conceded 41 runs. Moeen Ali and Jofra Archer took 2 wickets each. Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, and Liam Livingstone ended up taking one wicket each. They restricted Pakistan in 160 runs and won the match by 23 runs.
