After 2015, the New Zealand Women’s team is set to arrive in India for an ODI series. Scheduled for October 24, 27, and 29, these matches will take place in Ahmedabad. This series is part of the ICC Women’s ODI Championship for 2022-25.

Currently, the Indian Women’s team holds the fifth position in the ICC Women’s Championship, with 10 victories from 12 matches. Meanwhile, the New Zealand Women’s team is standing with 8 wins in 16 matches and standing at the sixth spot.
India’s status as hosts for the World Cup guarantees their qualification, regardless of their performance. For New Zealand, however, this series is critical for securing direct entry into the tournament.
