The iconic red ball season is back in India’s domestic circuit. The Duleep Trophy is back with another thrilling season. This edition of the iconic domestic tournament has become extra special as some of the star players of the Indian team are participating in the tournament. While participating in this tournament for India A, KL Rahul was dismissed early. After that unfortunate Knock, the fans criticized him on Twitter badly.
KL Rahul Played a Disappointing knock:
Duleep Trophy is back with another thrilling edition. Before stepping into the two-match Test against Bangladesh, some of the Indian players are participating in this ongoing tournament. While batting in the first innings, Team A gave a decent start. After a 57-run opening partnership, Shubman Gill was dismissed scoring 25 runs in 43 balls. Another opener, Mayank Agarwal scored 36 runs in 45 balls. Coming to bat at number 3, Riyan Parag was dismissed scoring 30 runs in 64 deliveries.
KL Rahul is taking part in this tournament for Team A. While playing as a number 4 batter, KL Rahul played a disappointing knock of 37 runs in 111 balls with a strike rate of only 33.33. He lost his wicket on a very crucial point. After that, the team’s batting lineup was shattered. Shivam Dube scored 20 runs and Tanush Kotian scored 32 runs. Team A got all out in 231 runs.

After KL Rahul played a disappointing knock, fans started criticizing him on social media. A fan named Gurdit Singh wrote, “If you want someone to discourage themselves from watching cricket, tell them to watch KL Rahul batting. I bet you will go on depression.”

Twitter is buzzing with Rahul’s criticism. Right after this tournament, Team India will meet Bangladesh for a Test assignment. Standing in that situation, KL Rahul’s off form became a matter of discussion. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant who has returned in the Test action after his accident, played an exceptional knock. Rahul’s place in the upcoming series is not confirmed.
