Orange Cap Holder of IPL 2020: Updated After CSK vs KKR Match 49

Nitish Rana’s 61-ball 87 helped Kolkata Knight Riders score 172 for the loss of five wickets. However, apart from Rana, only two notable contributions came from Dinesh Karthik (21*) and Shubman Gill (26). In reply, Ruturaj Gaikwad led the chase for Chennai Super Kings. He scored a fighting 72 off 53 balls followed by 20-ball 38 from Ambati Rayudu and an unbeaten 31 off 11 from Ravindra Jadeja. In 20 overs, Chennai Super Kings completed the chase by losing just four wickets.

Shubman Gill is the only KKR representative in the following Orange Cap table. From Chennai Super Kings, Faf du Plessis continues to shine although he did not feature in the last match of CSK vs KKR. Kings XI Punjab skipper KL Rahul continues to lead the chart.
