Pacers to Manoeuvre Mission World Cup For The Oz

The number one ODI side, Australia are currently taking on South Africa in a five match ODI series. They are championing the reason, as to why they are referred to as one of the top sides in the world of cricket.

With spearhead pacers, Pat Cummins and Mitchel Starc not being part of The Australia Tour of South Africa, raised concerns for the men in yellow. Despite of the absence of two major quickies, Australians have taken 2-0 lead against the proteas in the ODI series.

Hazelwood shows confidence in the bowling line up

Star Aussie pacer, Josh Hazelwood , who is currently leading the pace attack against the South Africans, is brewing with confidence ahead of the World Cup in India this year.

He said “ Australia will rely on their full complement of specialist pace bowlers to set the tone at the World Cup rather than mix and match with all-rounders.”

The presence of Cummins, Starc and Hazelwood in the side, is not less than a nightmare for even top ranked batters. Having the most venomous pace attack amongst the current teams, the series against south africa, has just created more depth in their squad.

Hazelwood, along with all rounder Marcus Stoinis, pacers Sean Abbott and Nathan Ellis has fashioned the two wins against the home team, South Africa. Commenting on the depth of the squad, he explained, ““It’s definitely great to have some younger guys here pushing us and getting some match experience and creating that depth within the squad”

Return of Starc and Cummins

While interacting with the reports Hazelwood commented on the return of their top two pacers, he said “With Mitch and Pat coming in hopefully for the India series before the World Cup, there’s still a lot of games to go, no doubt the quicks will play a huge part not only here but at the World Cup as well.”

Playing against their “modern” arch rivals, the Australians will look to excel on this series, as this will be their last big test ahead of the much anticipated ODI World Cup.

Cummins along with his two premium pacers, Hazelwood and Starc will look forward to accomplish mission India and then orchestrate a  World Cup winning outing.
