Pakistan Announce 12-Member Squad Against India for Tomorrow’s Clash

India and Pakistan will be taking on each other on Sunday for their first match of the ICC T20 World Cup. Pakistan have already disclosed their 12-man squad for the much-anticipated fixture.

All eyes be glued to the match between India and Pakistan on Sunday as this has been the tradition for cricket lovers since long. These two arch rivals do not meet outside ICC events these days due to political problems but whenever they meet, fans can expect a memorable clash. In 12 ICC World Cup matches so far, combining both 50 and 20- over format, Pakistan haven’t one a single match yet. Tomorrow will be another game when Pakistan will aim for a historic win while India will be determined to continue the domination.

While announcing the squad for tomorrow’s game, Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam revealed why they kept Sarfaraz Ahmed out of today’s game. “Sarfaraz is a good player of spin and has good confidence of playing against India. But we considered this would be our best XI for this match.”

Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik however featured in the squad. “Shoaib Malik also plays very well on the front foot and tackles spin very well. That’s why we have opted for him. Of course, Sarfaraz will get his chance in the matches to come,” said Babar Azam during a media interact squad against India:
