First Half of IPL Schedule:
The BCCI has released the schedule for the initial two weeks of the TATA IPL 2024, running from March 22 to April 7. With 21 matches spread across 10 cities, each team is guaranteed a minimum of three and a maximum of five matches. The season opener sees defending champions Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai.
The first weekend boasts two doubleheaders, featuring Punjab Kings versus Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Additionally, Rajasthan Royals will face Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur, while Gujarat Titans will clash with Mumbai Indians.
Delhi Capitals have chosen Visakhapatnam as their home ground for the first two matches. They are set to play against Chennai Super Kings on March 31 and Kolkata Knight Riders on April 3 at the coastal city’s stadium.
