The final match of IPL 2020 saw a final battle between the top two contenders of Purple Cap- Kagiso Rabada and Jasprit Bumrah. Unfortunately, Bumrah ended the match without any wicket but bowled pretty well to give away 28 runs in four overs. Trent Boult once again had a great outing against Delhi Capitals as he went on to scalp three major DC wickets for 30 runs in his four overs. Nathan Coulter-Nile took two wickets as Jayant Yadav managed one. However, Yadav was the most economical bowler of the day from the Mumbai Indians unit.
For Delhi Capitals, Anrich Nortje took two wickets while Kagiso Rabada and Marcus Stoinis took one each. Both conceded too many runs in the most crucial match for Delhi Capitals in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League. But that didn’t stop Rabada from claiming the Purple Cap award. Nortje is at 4th place whereas Jasprit Bumrah ended the tournament as the second-best bowler of the season. Trent Boult is at 3rd.
