Drama unfolded in the final over of the game as Lucknow Super Giants completed a thrilling victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore on the final ball of the game. RCB were confident of winning the game when they put on a total of 212 in the first innings. However, a collective effort from Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran, and young  Ayush Badoni saw LSG coming out on top on the final ball of the game. It was a nightmare of a day for the bowlers as it was a day for sixes and fours. The Purple Cap has not seen too many changes after the game.
