Queen’s Guitarist Brian May and His Wife Anita Dobson Spotted Enjoying the England vs. Sri Lanka Test at the Oval

After bagging two Test matches earlier, England and Sri Lanka are facing each other in the third Test match. The intense clash between both nations added extra thrills to this match. The match witnessed a special guest. English musician Sir Brian May was spotted enjoying the match at the Kennington Oval.

In the ongoing third Test match of the series, the Oval Stadium witness a notable visitor. 

Queen guitarist Sir Brian May was seen enjoying a day at the Oval cricket ground with his wife, EastEnders star Anita Dobson. The couple appeared cheerful and relaxed while watching day two of the Third Rothesay Men’s Test match between England and Sri Lanka. This outing came just days after Sir Brian revealed he had suffered a stroke.

England’s Another Promising Start:

After two successful wins in the previous two games, England entered the match with high confidence. While batting in the first innings, England lost their first wicket quickly as Dan Lawrence was dismissed on just 5 runs. But Ben Duckett and skipper Ollie Pope maintained a good partnership. Duckett was dismissed scoring 86 runs in 79 balls. 

Among all, Pope scored an incredible century. He remained unbeaten on 144 runs in 140 deliveries with 19 boundaries and 2 over-boundaries. Root, who scored fabulous centuries in previous matches, was dismissed scoring only 13 runs. Harry Brook was dismissed on 19 runs. England got all out in 321 runs. 

On the flip side, Sri Lanka already has a shaky start. Dimuth Karunaratne walked back scoring only 9 runs in 16 balls. Pathum Nisskanka is batting on 41 runs in 31 balls. Kusal Mendis re batting on 6 runs in 8 balls. Sri Lanka is standing on 57/1.
