Ravichandran Ashwin recently launched the anthem for his newly formed chess team, the American Gambits, marking their entry into the Global Chess League. The anthem, titled “Make The World Go,” was unveiled digitally on Ashwin’s social media platforms, reflecting the team’s bold and fearless approach to the game.

The American Gambits aim to make a strong impact in the GCL. With an impressive roster and a clear vision, they are poised to take on the competition with intensity and strategy. The anthem serves as a rallying cry for the team’s unity and ambition.

The anthem has been brought to life by singer Karthik Chennojirao from Pineapple Express. The song was composed by music director Charan Raj. It captures the essence of the team’s strategic depth and determination to succeed on the global chess stage. 

Ashwin Shared Excitements:

While launching this upcoming new venture, Ravichandran Ashwin shared excitement. The veteran Indian spinner said, “For us, chess is all about bringing out the best on the board—driven by passion, ridden by strategic bent of mind, and perfectly playing the role of a gambit.”

The Global Chess League is a joint venture between Tech Mahindra and the International Chess Federation. This is set to take place from October 3 to 12 in London. This event promises to bring excitement and innovation to the chess world, showcasing top-level competition.
