Rinku Singh boasts an impressive record in T20Is, having played 15 matches for India. In seven of those matches, he remained unbeaten, showcasing his ability to finish innings strongly. With 356 runs under his belt, Singh boasts a remarkable strike rate of 176.23. Additionally, his batting average is close to an impressive 90, standing at 89.00. These statistics underscore his impact and consistency in the T20 format for the national team.
Manjrekar’s Words on Rinku’s Selection:
Rinku Singh has had limited opportunities this IPL season, scoring 83 runs in six matches with two unbeaten innings. He maintains an impressive strike rate of 162.75, showcasing his strong batting abilities. While talking about this, Manjrekar said, “Because he’s not getting many opportunities, I hope selectors won’t forget about Rinku Singh.”
Later he added, “He’s a straight walk-in into the Indian team. Every time he has got the opportunity, you’ve seen how good he can be, in the sense of his consistency and the range that he has. He’s somebody who I like, apart from the core of the Indian team, apart from the big names we are thinking about.”
