He was batting for Pakistan Champions against India Champions and managed to score 18 runs off 15 balls before the injury forced him to retire hurt.

Yusuf Pathan and Yuvraj Singh then took charge, revitalizing India’s innings with a crucial partnership of 42 runs in just 5.4 overs. Pathan played aggressively, scoring 30 runs off 16 balls with three sixes, while Yuvraj played a steadier innings, remaining unbeaten on 15 off 22 balls. Despite Wahab Riaz dismissing Yusuf in the 19th over, India needed only seven runs from the last 10 balls. Yuvraj and Irfan Pathan successfully guided India to victory, with Irfan hitting the winning boundary off Sohail Tanvir on the first ball of the final over.
