Also with that fiery half-century, Rohit Sharma is the only batter to score a half-century in the powerplay of the T20 World Cup 2024.

In Rohit’s 92-run innings, he smashed 8 sixes, which is the highest hit by any Indian player in this T20 World Cup. He also surpassed Yuvraj Singh by hitting 8 sixes. Before Rohit, Yuvraj Singh hit 7 sixes in Durban in 2007. 

Facing Cummins in the fourth over, Rohit launched an enormous 100-meter six, sending the ball onto the roof.
