Saleema Imtiaz Becomes Pakistan’s First Female ICC Umpire

In a groundbreaking achievement for women’s cricket in Pakistan, Saleema Imtiaz has been appointed as the first Pakistani woman to the ICC’s International Panel of Development umpires. Imtiaz, who has officiated in 22 T20Is since starting her umpiring career in 2008, will make her international debut in the upcoming T20I series between Pakistan and South Africa, starting September 16 in Multan.
