On August 30, Great Ormond Street Hospital shared on social media that star English cricketer Sam Curran visited the hospital, surprising the children and staff. He brought joy by gifting his signed England and Punjab Kings jerseys.

Sam Curran: A Rising Star in English Cricket
Sam Curran, born on June 3, 1998, is an English cricketer who plays in all formats for England and represents Surrey in domestic cricket.
A left-handed all-rounder, he is known for his left-arm medium-fast bowling. Sam made his Test and ODI debuts in 2018 and his T20I debut in 2019.
He played a key role in England’s 2022 T20 World Cup victory, taking the most wickets for his team and earning the Player of the Tournament award.
Curran holds the record for the best T20I bowling figures by an English player with 5/10 against Afghanistan.
