Sentinels Sign N4RRATE and Bang for VCT 2025 Season as Replacements for Sacy and Tenz 

In a significant move for the VALORANT NA competitive scene, Sentinels have officially signed Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey and Sean “bang” Bezerra for the upcoming VCT 2025 season. This roster change comes in the wake of the retirement of two prominent players, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, who have left a considerable void in the team’s lineup.

N4RRATE’s Return to North America

Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey is making his return to North America after a year-long stint in EMEA with Karmine Corp. During his time in Europe, N4RRATE showcased his skills as an initiator, gaining attention for his standout performances. He was instrumental in Karmine Corp’s early success in 2024, helping them qualify for Masters Madrid as the top seed from EMEA. Despite being eliminated in the Swiss Stage, he finished as the highest-rated player in the tournament.

N4RRATE’s transition back to North America is highly anticipated. His experience and talent will be crucial as he steps into a role that requires both leadership and skill to fill the shoes of TenZ.

Bang’s Legacy with 100 Thieves

Sean “bang” Bezerra has been a mainstay in the VALORANT scene, particularly known for his time with 100 Thieves. Over nearly three years, bang played a pivotal role as a controller, contributing to various successes including winning the North American Last Chance Qualifier in 2022 and achieving a top-four finish at Masters Shanghai in 2024. 

However, following a dip in form that led to their failure to qualify for Champions, bang announced his departure from 100 Thieves, describing it as “the hardest decision of [his] career.” His addition to Sentinels brings experience and stability to a roster that has recently undergone major changes.

Filling Big Shoes

The departures of TenZ and Sacy leave significant gaps in Sentinels’ roster. Both players were integral to the team’s success during their championship run in 2024. With tournament victories at Masters Madrid and a strong showing at Champions, Sentinels were one of the most successful teams from the Americas last year.

N4RRATE and bang will need to quickly adapt to their new environment and team dynamics. Their previous accomplishments suggest they have the potential to maintain Sentinels’ competitive edge.
