MS Dhoni has been a source of inspiration for many youngsters aspiring to play the sport. Dhoni with his calm and composed nature has built a bond with players creating a healthy and calm environment in the team.
Shikhar Dhawan, the opening batsman for India, recently discussed how the previous captain MS Dhoni upheld a positive atmosphere in the locker room while leading the national side.

Dhawan described the ace keeper’s personality, batter’s saying that Dhoni has a very calm demeanor and only speaks when necessary. He was recently featured in a YouTube interview hosted by Ranveer Allhabadia, a famous Indian Youtuber.
“Dhoni bhai created a very relaxed environment within the team. He is very chilled out. He only said things that needed to be said, and his presence was quite calm.”
Shikhar Dhawan added that even though MS Dhoni is known for being a cool campaigner, there have been times when he lost his temper.
He did, however, make the argument that Dhoni didn’t lose his composure even under such circumstances because he knew it would ruin the atmosphere in the locker room.
Dhawan said he respected the former Men in Blue captain’s composure and continued:
“He is a very fun-loving guy. He is a very simple and down-to-earth person. He too is aggressive at times, but he restrains himself as he knows that it could spoil the environment. That’s his maturity. He has a lot of self-control.”
MS Dhoni has always led from the front and always inspired players around him. He has been the most successful captain in the history of cricket winning all the ICC trophies. He has won 4 IPL titles along with 2 Champions League titles for the Chennai Super Kings. This year Dhoni will be looking to finish things off in style in what could be his last IPL season.
