Team India is currently leading as No.1 team having won all the seven matches they have played since the commencement of the tournament, with their biggest win against Sri Lanka in the last match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Men in Blue are currently the World Cup favourites followed by South Africa, Australia and then New Zealand. With India having Virat Kohli as a consistent performer throughout all the matches, his masterful ability to chase runs remains unmatched in the history of cricket.
From where did it all start?
The world knows of Virat Kohli as the most extraordinary and prolific batsman in the history of cricket so if anyone comes at mocking him, that person will be ultimately exposed constant hate and wrath. Recently, during a panel discussion, Shoaib Malik pointed out that why Kohli always struggles against the opponent team’s spinners.
In the presence of Pakistan’s batting legends Wasim Akram and Misbah-ul-Haq, Malik talked about the possibility about why Kohli always finds himself caught by the spin attacks. Little did Malik know about the amount of enraging reactions he received from Indian fans. His comments were ultimately replied with “Shoaib Malik, thank you for teaching Virat Kohli how to bat; now please teach acting to Amitabh Bachchan as well.”
Malik’s reply with laughing it off
To this, Malik reacted with saying that people didn’t understand what I was trying to say being as analyst. He remarked “Duniya mein na koi batter aaya hai, na hi aayega jo kisi jagah pe phasta na ho. Beshaq woh 1 lakh run bana ley.” He added further “You guys didn’t get my point. All I said was that any batter, whose feet moves across, faces trouble facing spin. If you want examples, there are so many greats; you can ask anyone.”
