From India, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal came to bat. The super-over started with a single. In the third and fourth over, Rohit smashed two consecutive sixes. After the fifth ball of the over, Rohit is headed out. Rinku is called in to replace him for faster running. Rohit retires cleverly. It was surprising for Afghanistan. In the second over, India batters first. Rohit Sharma came to bat. He scored 11 runs in 3 balls and was dismissed in run out by Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Rinku Singh got out on a duck. Sanju Samson played a black without scoring any runs. On the other hand, Afghanistan scored 1/2. India won the super over by 10 runs. India whitewashed Afghanistan by a 3-0 margin.
