Rehearsals to Heighten Anticipation
Preparations for the aerial spectacle are already underway, with rehearsals scheduled for Friday and Saturday, ensuring that every manoeuvre is flawlessly executed. The Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team, known for its dynamic formations and impressive aerial displays, is expected to add an extra layer of excitement to the highly anticipated World Cup final.
In addition to the thrilling air show, the World Cup final ceremony will feature a live performance by global pop sensation Dua Lipa. Star Sports confirmed the participation of the chart-topping artist in a post on X, promising a musical extravaganza that will set the stage for the grand cricketing spectacle.

While the BCCI and ICC opted not to organize an opening ceremony at the start of the World Cup, the musical events preceding key clashes have become a tradition. Arijit Singh mesmerized the crowd before India’s clash with arch-rivals Pakistan on October 14, setting the tone for an exciting encounter that India won by 7 wickets.
