On the professional front, Suryakumar Yadav has been recovering from a hand injury sustained during Mumbai’s Buchi Babu Cricket Tournament 2024 match against Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) XI. He was selected to play in Team C for the Duleep Trophy 2024 but missed the first two rounds due to the injury. It remains uncertain if he will be fit in time for India’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, starting on October 6, 2024.
