TATA IPL 2023: Virat Kohli becomes the second player to hit 50 fifties in the tournament 

In a thrilling match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Virat Kohli created history by becoming only the second player to score 50 fifties in the IPL. Kohli’s half-century helped RCB put on a total of 181 runs in their 20 overs.

He has scored 7,042 runs in 233 matches at an average of 36.67, with 50 fifties and 5 centuries. 

Additionally, it is worth noting that David Warner achieved the feat of scoring 50 fifties in the IPL in the 2022 edition of the tournament while playing for the Delhi Capitals. Warner had an outstanding IPL 2022, where he scored 432 runs in 12 matches at an average of 48.00, with 5 half-centuries.
