In the first T20I match held in Gwalior, India won the toss and opted to field first. Bangladesh struggled to build momentum and could only post 127 runs. Najmul Hossain Shanto was their top scorer with 27 runs off 25 balls, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz remained unbeaten at 35 runs from 32 balls.

India’s bowling attack was led by Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy, who each took three wickets. Arshdeep finished with impressive figures of 3/14, earning him the ‘Player of the Match’ award.

Stellar Performance in the Chase

During India’s run chase, Hardik Pandya emerged as a standout performer. He scored an explosive 39 runs off just 16 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes. Captain Suryakumar Yadav contributed significantly as well, scoring 29 runs off 14 balls. Sanju Samson also played a key role with his 29 runs from 19 balls.

Despite losing a couple of early wickets, India chased down the target comfortably in just 11.5 overs, showcasing their batting depth and aggression.
