While batting first, Gujarat Titans set a target of 200 in front of the opponent. While chasing the target, PBKS lost the first few wickets. But at a very crucial point, Shashank Singh held the innings, he played an outstanding unbeaten knock of 61 runs in 29 balls with a strike rate of 210.34. He smashed 6 boundaries and 4 over-boundaries. That exceptional innings sealed the win.
After this excellent knock, Punjab Kings owner Preity Zinta lauded the star player. After that heartwarming post by the Bollywood actress, Punjab Kings’ batters gave a reply to her. On his social media handle, Shashank wrote, “Thank you Preity Mam for always supporting and Motivating me, couldn’t ask for anything more!” The reply has gone viral.
After facing some consecutive defeats, the Punjab Kings fought back. Against Gujarat Titans, they showcased their excellence. On April 9, Punjab Kings will face Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium. They are aiming for another.
